As A Beginner Shoul You Write On Blogger, WordPress Or Medium
Starting a career in writing, there is an obvious question in every writer's mind, which hosting services to join and start?
I have worked on all the platforms and am currently on medium, so here's my experience with all three.
Blogger
Starting off with blogger, powered by google is an amazing platform for beginners and planning to expand their website in the future. It provides you with a user-friendly environment to work in and tips and tricks can be found on other internet resources.
Your writing skills here completely depend on you. Initial growth would be slow but once your article is ranked, it will be easy to make a presece.
Demerits
1- Need more time
2- Need to learn about website building
3- Need to focus more on the website than the writing part
WordPress
If you need full 100% control over your website then this is the one. You can make your website which is fully in your control. Add plugins and add writing but still, if you are new to website building, it might be a bit more time-consuming as you need to learn everything from scratch.
If you have ample time in a day then I would recommend you to go for WordPress as it is one of the best.
But if you are busy with other activities in the day and still want to earn well as a side hustle. The next one is for you.
Medium.com
So far the best platform I ever tried. It was the one that motivated me to write every day and getting decent reads on your blog is really a motivation.
Medium Partner Program is not in my country but still, I just want to make a presence among other writers so I am here.
I have seen a lot of other people earning decent enough within a month writing on medium that they can even take as a full-time profession.
No clutter about managing websites and worrying about getting money and views. I would personally recommend you to try medium out. Reading books and discussing your views on the same.
Start small and within six months of regular writing, you will see the results.
